We’ll post all trade deadline stuff here. If/when the Pens make a trade and it’s confirmed, a separate thread can be created for that.
So the Kings are now healthy scratching both Spence and Clarke. Mess of a franchise, neither of those guys should be getting scratched.
I've obviously been vocal about wanting Clarke, but I think I'd ultimately be pretty satisfied with a Spence and Greentree package for Rakell as well.
What do you mean?
Spence has played very well this year from what I can tell so it makes no sense that he's being scratched.
IMO they should just move Gavrikov to LD and have both Spence and Clarke playing. Go with something like:
Gavrikov-Doughty
Anderson-Spence
Edmundson-Clarke

I mean we have no one on waivers so we can’t have too many forwards or D we can trade without being at a deficit, one each by my calculations assuming Novak and Schenn are available to play Friday…that means all of Beau, Acciari, and Rakell won’t be traded…maybe only one of them…and probably not both of Grz and Schenn
The 2029 draft is going to be deep.Kyle Dubas is a few 5th round acquisitions from turning this around
This would be a failure of a deadline if they were the caseTbh my gut feeling is that they don't end up trading Rakell, even though the market is absolutely insane for him

The only reason the Pens would need to have put anyone on waivers is if they were sending a player down to make cap space. They don't need to do that.I mean we have no one on waivers so we can’t have too many forwards or D we can trade without being at a deficit, one each by my calculations assuming Novak and Schenn are available to play Friday…that means all of Beau, Acciari, and Rakell won’t be traded…maybe only one of them…and probably not both of Grz and Schenn
