Yea I’m not angry about it. If the Sabres don’t think right now is the time to fill long term needs that’s okay! Those moves can be done in the off-season, and historically are done in the off-season.
I bet the mere possibility that a second 1st rounder could be involved (if BUF made the '23 ECF) is what sent Kevyn heading for the exits.

He wouldn't trade a reasonable price for Chychrun, why would he overpay for Parayko.

Arizona wasn't willing to swallow any money so that eliminates most teams. Not us tho

Same. Nino as a guy to plug into the middle six even before Tuch went down and give them some 2-way play beside Cozens was my thought. Also have heard he is an amazing locker room guy and while offensively streaky, 20-ish goals while not being a dink in his own zone is worthwhile.
