I'm happy with him. Good pick up.

Not happy about our top 6 still having a hole. Trigger shy maybe.

What would you have given up to get a top 6 forward?

Knowing our cap situation next year? And having to sign guys like Voynov to big pay raises.

Martinez is not going to get you a top 6 guy, Toffoli + probably will, but that is a Dave Taylor kind of trade

Understand your frustration, but I am not sure what kind of assets you were looking to give up.

I'm okay with Regehr as well.

This team shouldnt fear anyone, Chicago and Vancouver are dangerous IMO and to certain extend Anaheim. I dont see any other from the West beat us in a 7 game series.

Like I said in the other topic. I feel the Kings have only one top 6 prospect in the system (Toffoli) and maybe...maybe Vey or Pearson. That's not an impressive crop.

If the Kings didnt loose yesterday, people would be far more relaxed. The Kings lacked a tough defenseman. It would have been nice to improve up front, but think we had to trade too much to get it.

53 pts (19 G) for Phoenix in 2010. Richardson doesn't bring that.

That was two years go, Lombardi is just a plug now. Richardson career High is 14 goals, not that big a difference.

Again nether guy is a top six player.....

Meh, wasn't expecting much but for DL to shore up the D, which hopefully he did with Regehr. Was kind of hoping we'd get some more toughness with Ott, but it sounds like the prices were too steep this year.

Not only that, but Toffoli was actually in good position. Quick was off his angle.

That's what makes it even more embarrassing(for Lombardi), Toffoli actually kept up with him.

Lombardi should have blown by him with ease.

Kudos to Toffoli

If Regehr had been traded for today instead of yesterday, the mesmerizing amount of panic expressed by some leading up to 3pm would not exist. That's about as sad as the panic itself. 16 goals in our last 5 games, we lose 3-1 and suddenly we have a scoring issue.

We had a glaring deficiency, and we addressed it. Also, we did it a couple days early so now we get an extra game out of Regehr.
