This is interesting speculation. I wouldn't like the move (I like Patches, but I think he's toast), but it could make sense.

Not really a fleecing. Tarasenko allegedly signed in Ottawa with the understanding that if they were out of playoff position, he'd get dealt to the team of his choice.

Ottawa got something for nothing here.

What number will Tarasenko take ?! His trademark #91 belongs to OEL, and I think OEL has played with that number for quite some time !

We gave up much less in this trade than we did for Chiarot or Giroux. Zito done good.
