Not really. The overwhelming thought is that he will resign with Buffalo. It's pretty much the same reason as to why EK's name hasn't come up as a rental.

If I remember correctly, Buffalo was one of two teams for which Skinner was willing to waive his NTC/NMC. On top of that, he is playing with a legitimate 1C for the first time, and is already one goal away from tying his career high. There is a high likelihood that he re-signs.
