I like this deal a hell of a lot more than stupid Marleau... can slide 2/3rd lines and C and wing gives options. At the low cost I’m cool with it.

Okay, then we're on the same page (low risk, gives Sully flexibility) . . . now what does OC Heel Persona say?

I still worry about the mix on line 2. I'm confident Geno and Kap can find their timings again and work well, but that line needs something McCann isn't gonna bring to it, imo. Not unless you're asking Kap to shift to a breakaway threat, two-way, gruntwork kind of guy and letting McCann be the production driver.

Then Carter becomes your Plan B.

Worried about turning a guy into Marleau by asking too much of him, that's the problem there.

And yeah, I know Marleau was basically toasted when he got here, but I'd be wary about putting too much on Carter's plate.

Zucker-McCann-Carter
ZAR-TB-Tanev

That's an ideal bottom-6, though I'd prefer to give Tanev to Geno+Kap and run someone like E-Rod or Zoho on the 4th in that spot--we've talked about the Sullivan issue with that.
