I think this is a mistake, with the D woes of several diff teams (Wings anyone?) this season, the market on serviceable D is really terrible. Probably easier to move Burns back and get a forward or 2 (2/3rd liner and 4th liner). But then again, he's the GM, and I do mostly approve of everything he has done since McGinn

May mean Demers is out longer than expected too, serious concussion maybe.

Not sure who he would go after, you have to think it would be someone who can skate and plays on the left side... Ian White will still be my pick.

From what he said IE "couple little things", think he gets a d and will try to get a young winger if possible. He mentioned the thing earlier about young players instead of picks, think he flips at least a pick or two.

He also said a couple "little things" might be added. So D depth and maybe an emergency forward? We'll probably see a couple of the draft picks we got yesterday moved out. We have a decent amount of cap space this year, so even though DW said no rentals, maybe we'll see one.

He would never say it, but wouldn't be surprised if he's looking to replace Greiss and doesn't trust Stalock or something.

White would be good, he knows the team, would replace Demers if he's out long term.

I really like Burmistrov out of Winnipeg, and apparently they're shopping him pretty hard. If DW is looking to add a young forward, he's a good option. Wonder what the asking price is.

We'd have to give up a lot for him. He's not gonna be cheap.

I would love Kulikov but he will probably be way too expensive too
