Obviously Byfield is very talented, but the drive and work ethic and commitment isn't a question with Rossi, it's there to the highest degree. Would be very hard to find someone above him in that regard.

Could be an interesting trade because Byfield could end up being as good or better than Rossi, but he needs to discover that drive and consistency.

I hate how this is a believable scenario. It would be the most Guerin move imaginable to do Vegas style LTIR-antics to fit Reaves.

I feel like Hartman has fallen out of favor with the coaching/management staff. And Trenin has seen regular time on the 4th line so coaching isn't giving him favors either.

If Hartman has fallen out of favor, then he needs to go. We need offense. We need help with special teams. It'd be criminal to ignore those needs just to bring in yet another bottom 6'er who can't provide speed and offense. We are wasting a crap ton of money on guys who aren't helping out where we need it most. And thanks to Hartman, we have a bad enough reputation as it is. Bringing in Reaves would just make us a bigger joke, rightfully so.

Billy needs to realize that we aren't the 2007 Ducks who just hit everything that moved and won a Cup for it. It's not gonna work.

Russo was on with Barriero and said he’s heard that the interest in Boeser has been very minimal to this point. If he’s still around come the actual deadline and the cost is reasonable, it may be something they look at.
