Hmm, I'm not sure we have anything equivalent. Yurov may be the closest, but Stankoven has proven that he can play in the NHL and Yurov hasn't. If they think Yurov's upside is around the same as Stankoven's, it would make more sense to take the more proven player.

The original rumor was 1st + legit prospect. If there are no takers there, I think something like 2nd + Hedit/Kumpulainen/Stramel could fit the bill.

Or maybe Ohgren + 3rd?

Maybe we could still sell them on Lambos?

I’ll believe it when I see it that all of the three currently out will be back prior to the playoffs. As well as the usual injury suspects not picking up one themselves. I’d make the move. Hell Brodin will probably come back and get hurt again prior to the playoffs.

Zuke + a brand new whiteboard + a new jockstrap to Sharks for Eklund and 5th round pick.

Wyatt Johnston at 5 x $8.4M probably means pretty close to $10M for 8 years. I still don't think he's quite an exact Rossi comp.
