The 1st line generating 0 high danger corsi for, and giving up 2 goals against was a bigger problem than mitss/olofsson not getting any shots on net.

Disappointing that we've gone 1-4-0 since the high of the win over the Wild. Finally got back in striking distance of the playoffs and gotten fully healthy and we've fallen apart.

Tage looks like his pre 2021-2022 breakout self these past 5 games.

It seems like it just took a few months for other clubs to take Buffalo seriously, and figure out to play them physically and take away the neutral zone. For now, the Sabre can't handle it and this stretch likely removes them from any likely playoff consideration.

1st line - too intent on filthy dangles and neutralized for now.
2nd line - too young and just can't take the physicality.
3rd line - works their tail off but not enough drive to the slot or crease.
4th line - works their tail off but not enough scoring ability.

D-corps - three great players and one decent player that aren't at their prime yet, and three roster fillers that need to be replaced.

UPL shows some potential and can at least hold his own, but needs better awareness from his teammates in the D-zone.

Sabres Will miss the playoffs again. They need to do something this summer as they cant miss next season playoffs again .

Twice in a row we really struggled after a Bills game day (last time it was the 4-0 game at home against the Flyers).

I'm not even suggesting that they were out partying on Chippewa like the early 90's Bills/Sabres players, but even if they went to the game or got together for watch parties, it can be hard to get right back on routine, especially for an afternoon game.

No excuses, a loss is a loss, but I bet the respond in a big way tomorrow night.
