Post-Game Talk: Tough Decisions- LA Kings Off-Season

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Sportsbook will reset after the Cup is won
We just need to find a way to ship out one of Dumoulin/Ceci then upgrade the #7 spot.

Mikey Anderson - Brandt Clarke
Joel Edmundson - Drew Doughty
Matt Grzelcyk - Jacob Trouba/Tony DeAngelo (All are UFA's)
*Brian Dumoulin

Heck maybe we make a move for a Vince Dunn/Vladislav Gavrikov.

Actually one of the years Laviolette coached Panarin he also coached DeAngelo.

He had the highest amount of ice-time in his career under Laviolette. Something to keep an eye on.

I genuinely wonder sometimes if you guys are aware that the things you say and the opinions you hold can be verified... and easily and therefore how it is you come to some of your strongly help beliefs.

Panarin was in New York from
2019-20 to 2025-2026
DeAngelo was in New York from
2017-18 to 2020-21
Laviolette was the Head Coach of the Rangers from
2023-24 to 2024-25

To the best of my knowledge and ability to check Laviolette NEVER coached DeAngelo.

Tony DeAngelo had his highest time on ice with the Islanders while being coached by Patrick Roy.
Second most in Philadelphia under Tortorella.

Oops you're right.

I saw New York listed on NHL.com for 2024-25 and thought New York Rangers.

Understandable, but if they were to move on what pieces would it take? Obviously Colorado is currently limited with assets, but if they can wrangle a first would a 2027/28 first+2027 second+ a prospect like Brindley get things close?
Holland said he doesnt want any futures because he wants to win now. But I think most people on here would have liked them to start a rebuild and move roster players for first rounder picks and prospects in a deal like that.

I'm totally in favor of taking on bad contracts if we're getting paid for it.
Getting paid for it is a different story. I'm in that way.
But wanting Nurse -- nope. Even if Ceci/demo going other way. That would mean Holland will spend more bad money replacing one of those two guys....some other old, slow, useless guy that he overpays. Plus the extra year/money on Nurse.

We need a really good puck mover on D. Then give me the younger guys for the back end of D -- Mov, KK, Booth, Salin, etc.
