Play Eyssimont instead of Wheeler who looked slower than normal today. Hopefully he's banged up cuz if not... gonna have to buy him out in the off season
Not likely but I'd love to see him in this game -
What's the risk in playing a high tempo guy that can add some scoring?
Especially with a B2B on the road -

Fandom at it's best but I think if they give this guy a shot, they'll have a tough time taking him out of the lineup.
Prove me wrong Jets org :D

Hopefully this is where we we side impact from the new coaching staff.

Someone has to get this pp playing better. We have way too much skill to look that poor with an extra man
Yup - they struggle with gaining the zone and making quick decisions under pressure - the words out that the Jet's PP can be neutered if squeezed at the blueline or rushed in the zone.

Add Perfetti on the left wall, move Scheif to the middle, PLD down low, KC right side and JoMo on left point - remove Wheels - with age, I think he is now a bit too slow in making decisions and not much of a shot.

Time to try something else - PP is not working and I don't think it's all systems (more to do with quick puck movement / creativity).

In a b2b situation I'm taking Wheeler out. He looks slow AF.. slower than normal. He's either hurt or not much of an nhl player anymore

Great GDT

Loved Alice in Chains.

Missed last nights game but had way too much fun hanging out with friends at a Diabetes fun raiser.

Crazy busy day today so no Bomber game but maybe some Jets action.

Hoping for a win tonight but we always suck on Western Canadian road trips after good home stands. I am hoping Seattle is more like Cali and less like western Canada.

Wheeler needs to go back on the top PP unit. The top unit has looked terrible. Jets PP was never an issue before this season with 26 running it.

Connor needs to be better. That last game was probably one of the 5 worst of his career.

Updated the second post and added a clip that inspired the opening post, and for counterpoint, an example of just how funny a "certain other 'intellectual humour'" show really isn't, once you listen to it without a laugh track. Still waiting to catch wind of the opening lineups.

Barron was 4-6 weeks no more than 2 weeks ago.

Ehlers is lower body, he might start skating soon is the last we heard a few days ago.
I hope Nik can start skating soon, but if it was his knee like last year, which took two months, we might not see him back until early or mid-December.
The game he was injured in saw him take a trip early on, which might have pre-disposed him to a re-injury..
I know this sounds gloomy and the guy is a catalyst, but the lines might need a bit more juggling before he gets back..’just sayin’.
Get better Nik’!

Yeah, I had a friend who worked shifts in a Van Starbucks as an undergrad. For some reason, the customers were allowed to write their own names on the cups (supposedly to make things more efficient, but it didn't).

Most people used faked, humorous names and the two that showed up the most often: Heywood Jablome and Mike Hunt.

She said the staff usually just yelled out the first name, but it didn't put a dent in the practice. Guess that shows that lots of little boys never really grow up.

It's not that the little boys never age; it's the humour that remains timeless :)

Or that some people don't recognize when the 'humor' stopped being funny.

Well, that’s not it for me at least. I took myself far too seriously for far too long. I’ve become a much happier person ever since I chose to re-embrace my sense of humour.

I do my best to laugh at my own shortcomings now & it‘s empowering to be able to be silly & make fun of life, (though never others in a mean spirited manner)

NHL schedule sucks so much. Jets have 3 days off play a game and then play another game 22 hrs later, would it have been that hard to start this game 2 hrs later and start the Calgary game an hour earlier so that the turnaround period between the two games was a bit more reasonable?
