According to this article Torts is the coach players would least likely want to play for, and it's not even close between him and the next coach on the list.

With only 93, it wouldn't take many to distort that poll.

I'd like to see a bigger percentage of players before I'd take too much stock in it. Obviously it shows something and a trend, but around 10 percent isn't enough to make me think it's gospel.

Honestly I bet you very few if any of his former players voted for him in this poll. The general consensus seems to be that players love playing for him.
Yea I’m confused by these results, except I remember players kept voting Price the best goalie years after his prime because he was a name they know

I’ve heard multiple places Torts is liked, including a deep drive article looking into why players kept leaving CBJ. Players defended him

93 players of approximately 750 available population is a consequential sample size of ~12% which is a completely acceptable, and standard, percentage when it comes to population surveys. In fact, the recommended baseline is only 10%.

If there's any flaw to this poll, I would think it's including coaches (Babcock) who aren't even active NHL coaches as they're not really an option. Would be interesting to see where his votes get distributed to.

I'm pretty sure Huberdeau would have voted for Sutter if he was asked.
Nothing more embarrassing than telling everyone that Huby had to leave the game to take a shit. Sutter being Sutter.

Hubey has had some pretty shitty coaches, if we're getting fecal. And I'm not talking about Sutter.

Let's retroactively poll players about Scottie Bowman. Or, let's see which coaches players like the most and see how accomplished they are. We'll call it the Laine curve.
