Hagel effect. Everybody saw the Hagel trade worked out for TB and Lafferty broadly fit the same profile and was on the same team. Except, you know, Hagel was actually good and Lafferty isn't.

I am just glad that we didn't shell any real assets for him. McCabe alone at 50% retention would have still been a good deal for us.

still too early IMO to find out if it has worked out or not. I am pretty sure he has been brought along with all the other additions for the playoffs. let's see if he hurts or helps us.
