I really like this team when healthy, and they're moving in the right direction.

Sure, there are a couple guys I would move if possible, but
the habs are only missing a few pieces, and should be contenders in a couple years and on a consistent basis.

no team in the east has me worried, and if the habs are clicking they can beat almost anybody...what more do we want with a transitional team?

One key for me to win this game:

Don't take early penalties!

Habs'll lose this game again if the they play catch-up hockey all game. Gotta be disciplined in the 1st period. Easy 2 points when Habs are disciplined and skating hard.

GHG!

With Price playing well, Leafs with a depleted lineup and a struggling Penalty kill, Habs are in a great position to win this game.

It's always the same old problem with these games. Do we play into the Leafs strength by suiting up our hapless, slow fighters, thus making our team weaker, or do we go with speed and skill and hope we make it through unscathed?

Parros is going to cost us a goal. Will his five minutes of ice time make up for it?

Toronto is already in free-fall at the moment. Look at their schedule, they've got a lot of tough teams coming up. Would love for it to be the habs to be the beginning of the end of their season :D

Its seems that the Leaf board is in mini meltdown mode...

Pretty funny.

Hope the Habs are at their very best tonight.

A perfect game for me would be goals from:

MaxPac (2 goals)
Subban
Markov
Gallager
Eller
White

7 goals for... that would be nice (unlikely, though :) )

Funny GDT MiG, love Gangsta baby and fat baby Murray. Both teams have identical records, time to move ahead. We will prevail despite Parros having to fight Orr to make up for opening day mishap. 4-2 final score with empty netter going to baby Brière.

great gdt, i lol.......loved parros, white and moen in the basket and emelin is just hilarious.
Did not realize we have the exact record as Leafs. MUST win. Price we will need your best, have a feeling with Bourque or Parros getting any ice time they will be rusty and we will need some great tending. Go Habs lets redeem ourselves. Let the Leafs fight, we can do the scoring.

So so true, but rarely do we see the habs excute this game plan vs. the big three. Leafs, Bruins, Sens.........but tonight could be a first.:yo:

Here
I never expect anything positive when the Habs play the Leafs. Tonight is no different. It seems that the Leafs have the ability to impose their style on us and when we try to get involved physically against them, we lose our way.

4-1 Leafs in the most frustrating game of the season.

What's funny is how Toronto has lost to Buffalo twice this season. With that said, I wouldn't be shocked if we lost though, Toronto always plays well against us.

We won all the fights opening night, but I feel we kind of lost our intensity when Parros broke his face on the ice.

we used to play a great style vs. Bruins a few seasons ago, when we beat them like 8 straight times, they would come in bruising and fighting and we would go 3-6 on PP and win.
they would win 1 or 2 fights and it never mattered. I wish MT would go review those tapes, because we have blown a bunch of games vs. north east since.
