I was hoping we'd have established a more effective / stable fourth line with Reaves out but the way things are going I feel like he's going to inevitably draw back in full-time which is unfortunate.

This is what I was referring to. It's possible Mirtle is wrong though. I guess we'll find out very soon one way or another.

Can the treasury bear such expense?
 
Excited to see Matthews - Nylander combo. It's the way I think it should be. It's a much less predictable offensive threat. Scoring chances won't be forced through Matthews and oppositions will have to be more honest in their schemes.

Marner should be able to produce with any high IQ nose for the net pair. Wish Robertson was showing more because I believe in the dynamic of a Robertson(Knies, Mcmann) - Tavares - Marner line.

Personally, I'd rather see Greyboykin or even Lorentz there, rather than the black hole that is Pontus Holmberg. They might as well deploy Marner and Tavares without an extra winger.

Yeah, I think Lorentz is worth giving a shot to. He has definitely earned a shot.
 
Not to mention, if NRob can't be put in the top 6 with 6 forwards out of your lineup, then I don't know what he's still doing here??! I know he hasn't exactly earned it, but f man - give the guy one last shot to pump his tires here, and then kick em to the curb or off the nearest cliff if he can’t hang yet again.

They’ve been playing entertaining hockey and I hope Matthews adapts to them rather than other way around.

Not unfortunate, he has the coaches support. He should be the against the preds.
