If they are back we have a chance, but without both there is no way I can see them winning barring Woll turning into 1999 Hasek.

The defense will really be tested, Tampa has been up and down this year but they're scoring a ton of goals still.

I suspect Greb and Minten since they are waiver exempt. Possible they waive A. Nylander.

It seems likely they'll put McMann on IR to give him a full week. I am pretty sure they can retroactively put him on IR as of Wednesday/Thursday, so he'd miss 2-3 games if he's not seriously injured.

With Reaves suspended, and McMann Injured, there are just 23 players on the roster. At this point, nobody needs to go down as far as I'm aware.

They are at 23 players with Reaves suspended. Suspended players do not open a roster spot. Matthews and Knies off IR means they are at 25 players. Even if McMann goes to IR, they will need to make at least 1 roster adjustment to activate them.

That's 24 with McMann on IR. Reaves doesn't open a roster spot being suspended.

Yes, suspending an NHL player opens up a roster spot on the team:


  • Suspended players
    Suspended players are not eligible to play in any games until their suspension is complete. While they are suspended, their team can replace them with another player.
