Sandin isn’t on the top pairing. Chychrun is. Sandin is on the second pairing this year and he’s not better than Rielly.
Sandin plays with carlson chychrun plays with tvr do you just get off on opposing me ?
Hard to develop a defensemen when you trade em at age of 22 or whatever Sandin was.Sandin is being deployed against the toughest competition and has excelled with every partner so far. Maybe Washington knows how to develop D at the NHL level
Leafs can't develop D at any level to save their lives.
It's San Jose. Hardly a game to get worked up over. I imagine that the leafs will have the lead by the end of the second period. They are pretty good at scoring in bunches.
So good thing they are playing San Jose, I guess.Leafs are 2-4 against playoff teams since the break.

Well it’s how we got Cowen, at least we didn’t get totally robbedHard to develop a defensemen when you trade em at age of 22 or whatever Sandin was.
When’s the last time he was in the playoffs kinda stupid to assume something from a couple years when he clearly got betterAssMus Sandin is terrible. He’s softer than wet toilet paper and hopelessly slow footed.
Report back a month from now with another Sandin update - - he always plays his worst hockey in the playoffs.
When’s the last time you watched cause he’s been on there for a while now before 4 nationsThe last time I watched Washington he was not up with the top pairing, so he must be doing better now.
Either way, he wasn’t a fit in Toronto and the value we got back for him was good, so I don’t mind the trade at all. I’ll be watching Washington closely in the playoffs to see how he does, but based on the experience in Toronto I’m not holding my breath. Hopefully he continues his play.
