  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Back at it tonight. Two points is a must.

Sucks to have to play out West so close to the end of the season, I don't recall that ever happening before. 10:30 start is going to be tough to get through.

Guessing back to Woll tonight. Hopefully the rest of the lineup remains the same from Tuesday.

One of the few benefits of working for an aerospace/defense company is most of them are shifting to 4 day work week
I have fridays off. I'll be on the couch at least, probably passed out after 12
I have been on a 4 and half day schedule for a few years, and I still won't watch any 10:30pm games unless it's a playoff game.

I'm on the East Coast and plan to take this one in... much to my detriment Friday.

Holmberg should be playing hockey tonight. He works his tail off.

Remember what happened to Texas Red.

He went to meet the ranger with a big iron on his hip. One and nineteen men before the ranger went and met their death. Twenty one would be the ranger with a big iron on his hip.

Tonight's game is nothing more than the hockey version of David and Goliath.

The story of a soldier boy defeating a battle hardened warrior sounds implausible. Yet in reality the idea of an underdog beating a giant isn't an exception but closer to the rule. But the lesson of David vs Goliath isn't simply the story of the underdog.

The real story is one of perception.

We are obscured by our misconceptions so blind to our own blind spots. We underestimate our opponents as a result. Like Texas Red who might've gone on living but he made one fatal slip.

When he went to meet the ranger with a big iron on his hip.

This isn't just a must win, this is a must win in regulation.

You need to get that Regulation wins tiebreaker broken that way regardless of what happens between Florida and Utah tomorrow you stay in 1st place.

seeing as Utah plays Tampa tonight I don't think they are winning tomorrow so a regulation win here would be MASSIVE
