He was screened less than I thought (just watched it again), but I think Matthews changed the angle on the shot by hitting the stick... it's hard to tell, but ya, if not a little weak, I still don't think it's an easy save.

Let's stop making up things for Woll

Who on earth is screening Woll here? He's looking directly at the puck and shooter. He gave the forward a lot of net to shoot at, and the shooter took it.

No matter what happens tonight, this team has shown over and over again that they’re not good enough to win in the playoffs.

I said screened less than I thought... sorry I should have mentioned there was a lot of traffic close to him, not blocking his eye sight but causing chaos.

Regardless, I told you what the actual issue likely was, it is in the image you posted, you can pretend that the stick wasn't checked and it didn't change the angle, but it looks like it was to me.

Are we still line matching on the road and putting our top line against there’s to shut them down? Like f*** off let’s go boys mix the lines up or something but the first line needs to stop horsing around and make your presence felt if you can’t do it against them who are you gonna do it against ?

The worst was a 2nd story job playing from 8 till 2, I used to play through a Mesa boogie iic it weighed about 50lbs plus a Lester in its case, muscling those up and down stairs 4 times on a weekend was lots of fun. Aahh the glamour of rock n roll
Could be worse - could be a B3 and Leslie.

Gawd, as soon as they get a chance to make a move upwards….they just….stop.

Domi and Laughton getting some synergy tho. Something to watch.

That was a terrible period. Outplayed start to finish.

The PP almost salvaged it, but laziness reclaimed the lead for the Sharks.

Matthews line a complete no-show at 5-on-5. 2nd and 3rd lines looked good.

Very winnable game. Hopefully they are warmed up now.

That was against a team that was phoning it in.
Exceptions happen from time to time.
I'm not sure I know what this means. It's been one period. They get to play two more of them. I'm just saying hold off on the obituary until the game is actually over.

I think the Leafs win this game if Woll doesn't allow another goal.

Unfortunately I have no confidence in Woll not allowing another goal. Hopefully he proves me wrong. At some point he has to put up a .900 save percentage against the weakest teams in the NHL.

Poor Habs felt the "new coach" effect facing the Flyers tonight after the Leafs drubbing that led to Torts throwing in the towel. 6 goals from the free-falling Flyers? Ouch.

If the Habs somehow miss the playoffs (let us all pray for it), I'll take some satisfaction in knowing that at least in part, they'll have the Maple Leafs to thank.
