Likely just a matter of when. But he's pretty impressive when he actually plays.

They should just save him for the playoffs. Repair him as best they can and keep him working out. He's a pro will get up to speed pretty quick.

He’s not dogged on the puck and looking to be involved in puck battles and stripping pucks which is the foundation of what makes him successful. When he gets involved in those unglamorous chores it’s a springboard for possession and counter attack. He can’t play the game like he’s Steven Stamkos and look for Marner to set him up all the time. He’s just not engaged.
