Don't these two points contradict each other? His production intrinsically connected to Nylander, yet he was dropped to another line.
Your claim in the first post was that his points are fine, and now you're saying they don't tell the whole story but do not acknowledge that the other part of the story, which is his play, dropped off.
Is he a good middle-six center? Sure, but it seems evident that his role in a few regards is being reduced, whether it's Nylander getting another look at center or him having the captaincy taken away from him. I think it's okay; he's 34 now, and if the organization had planned better or actually given Nylander a longer look at 2 C, it wouldn't have been much of an issue.
