Yeah the team has not been good in front of him, does that absolve him of all blame and mean he can't possibly have sucked all pre-season and season long ?

I will never understand those who gives goalies complete absolution if the team in front isn't playing well. In this game so far, habs were playing well, getting chances... and Price just gives up two softies.. if we had some middle of the pack goalie it would be ok, but Price is supposed to be way better than that. Starting next year, he'll be paid to be HEADS AND SHOULDERS above anyone else.

Nobody says that he could have stopped that based on reflexes. But any type of smart positioning could have. Just like everytime we say how it seems to easy for Price....well that's not because he had better reflexes than others...he's because he's a great positional goalie.

It has. Ore to do with ten million, he's getting paid like a Crosby, ovechkin, mcdavid, but cannot do what they do for a team.

Price is great. He's not worth ten million if the excuse is the team in front of him sucks. Why it find a goalie like osgood then? And have players that will take over games because cp31 doesn't do it consistently enough for ten million.

Not for me Waffledave as you know my position on this pathetic team. But Price hasn't been great this year so far. Him not being good can still exist EVEN if there is a pathetic team in front of him.
