It's funny because the St Louis and Chicago trades were good, and then he decided to downgrade what he had to make the Islanders, Canucks, and Capitals trades.

Ya McCabe trade may be his best as a GM, O'Reilly was having a rough year so that trade worried me. Great player historically but not a big fan of spending big on soon to be UFAs.

Sandin trade was particularly odd as Dubas didn't flip the pick as I expected. I hope that pick isn't used to get out of Murray's contract or something like that.

It probably worth it to put Woll in. Gives Samsonov a chip on his shoulder and Woll a chance to steal the game 2 starting job.

Woll and Knies probably won't play scared like 2/3 of the team currently is.

Lily - > Holl
Knies - > ZAR/Laff/Kerfoot
Woll - > Samsonov

My bar was near-the-floor low and they even still managed to leave me disappointed after that first period.

I have a lot of issues but I'm really losing it with Keefe's inability to maximize his line up depth and mentally get this team over the hump.

I watched about half the period and saw Marner make more flip passes then actual passes.

I think they call it turnovers. Wasn't impressed with him at all.

Marner is a beauty but that was a bad period for him.

In general that 1st couldn't of gone much worse.

They have to score minimum 2 and let in none next period and they have a shot.

Won't be easy.

He was all about stretch passes and fast transitions.

Ahh ok. Someone just mentioned that we've gotten slower(maybe Dubas changed his mind later)...And i agree with that...We are nowhere as fast as before. Teams used to always back off because every guy on our team was so quick..Now they have a much easier time getting to our forwards(especially guys like JT, OR and some others).
