Nylander is our only star with elite speed. I've said this in the past about the leaf core. Come playoffs, speed is one of the most important traits a player can have. Marner, Tavares and Matthews don't have breakaway speed and in the playoffs the speed goes way up. I also think mental toughness and compete level is up there. Perry doesn't have speed but the man competes.... Again Tavares and Marner specifically lack the do whatecer it takes to win element to their game. They both stand out in a strange way in playoff hockey. They look unusually afraid to battle.
