Refs have been rough, and the players have made some major mistakes (like Bunts headshot), but man, Keefe is such a problem too:
- Why isn't Lily playing? He's been one of our best dmen all year
- Sammy was clearly having a bad game for awhile, should have been pulled a number of goals ago
- They'd just reviewed that goal and found it to be a good goal, the challenge clearly wasn't gonna work, that cost us another goal against

I think the challenge and lack of obvious goalie pull cost us 2-3 goals against, and we're just better with Lily in the lineup. Despite all the other issues, we could be in this if Keefe took his head out of his ass, more 4-3 than 7-3.

Death by a million cuts, but so many of those cuts are terrible decisions by Keefe.

Lots of really bad giveaways to start the period. If you come out balls to the wall you're 3 behind with an early one. Instead I've only seen Nylander skate so far.

Nylander is our only star with elite speed. I've said this in the past about the leaf core. Come playoffs, speed is one of the most important traits a player can have. Marner, Tavares and Matthews don't have breakaway speed and in the playoffs the speed goes way up. I also think mental toughness and compete level is up there. Perry doesn't have speed but the man competes.... Again Tavares and Marner specifically lack the do whatecer it takes to win element to their game. They both stand out in a strange way in playoff hockey. They look unusually afraid to battle.
