There’s no question that the reffing is atrocious..
But I don’t believe it’s directed at the Leafs in any way …
But it is horrible across the league..
We will lose tonight because of being weak mentally, dumb penalties especially on Bunts …to much negative energy from the core , horrendous Defense in front of our goalie , no composure, bad PK , exceptionally bad coaching , and especially the worst goaltending from Sammy ..

Please this is not on the bad reffing !!!

Isn't the biggest concern here Samsonov, Matthews and Marner. Those fe, especially are tender have been dreadful.

You can be beat clean but these goals, especially goal 1 and 6 should not have counted.

They got a point. If that continues, people will still say they produced, at least a PPG.

But honestly, how many times at the end of a playoff game that these two have played over their careers could we punt to either of them and say “that guy was the best player in the ice tonight”?

Not many.

Lots of people looking to evaluate goaltending, impact of trade acquisitions etc, but all that is pointless until M&M can take over games when it counts.

1) that bunting play happens 100 times a game...bad luck he caught cernak in the face, 2 minutes definitely match penalty not a chance as there was 0 intent bunting is literally looking at the puck...that play is nothing new in the NHL

2 Wes McAuley has made an absolute joke of this game...rarely it's the other guy making a penalty call.

3) if dubas or Keefe don't come out ad absolutely rip the NHL then they don't deserve to win as they basically turned their backs on the players
