Weak calls on Schenn and Kampf, Bunting probably didn’t mean to hit his head but I kind of hope he gets suspended and Knies comes in. McCauley’s a douche. I’m yelling expletives at the TV, Leafs are playing like shit except on the PP, I shouldn’t be posting but I hate this shit. Where is Marner and Matthews?

Even with all this the Leafs came back. Then Marner gets picked and no call and they call a penalty on the Leafs. Later a Leaf is chase around and interfered with and no call. They call a weak call on what looked like a stick on stick.

Well, we can also rewind to when the high sticking call on Perry was made and when he went to snap his head back his stick grazed Matthews' visor. Talk about ironic.

But again, the Leafs didn't come to play the right way and if Wes McCauley and friends decided to make a mockery of the rule book, it's only part of what did this team in tonight. How could they could they come up with this effort after a year working to get back?

We let them dictate the pace. When it should have been us

Felt more like a regular season game. We never come out flying
That one game we did, we never saw Clifford again

I don't understand why marner and matthews can't just scoop the puck up and put it in like nylander does against playoff goalies

Marner has been doing the same Marner things.... Holding the puck too long acting like a qb thinking a play has to happen off his stick, and then making silly risky passes that have failed, he's even missed his target on simple passes. He's so soft on the puck which is completely contrary to Kucherov and Point who are hard to separate from the puck and often shake hits and keep going.

Marner is skilled and a hard worker... But he doesn't have playoff skill. He lacks Speed, grit, lower body strength, hard shot, mental toughness.

With Matthews... Why does it seem all his shots are while pivoting or doing a 180? Can we have a system that gets him direct shots?

We really won't know who's at fault for this crap until we get a core change or a coaching change. But Dubas won't do either.

Let Woll play the 3rd, change the forward lines to get something going and go into game 2.

We beat them 5-0 last season in game 1. There’s a long way to go.

Play Liljegren and Knies. Tampa and Boston plays their rookies. We won’t in order to play UFA’s who have failed to do anything. That’s on Keefe, and Dubas for allowing it.

Regroup, make adjustments, and take it to them in game 2. Just get out of this gong show already.

….. and fire Keefe before game 2.
