From what I read on Tampas side, they seem to hate him equally as much so I mean it MAY not be as bad as we think ? I dunno just an absurd decision by the league.

Although I do agree they should be more considerate of who should referee us with the past history, and Wes also has bad blood with Cooper too.

tonight. I got credentials for the first two games as a media member through the tv channel I work for as a colour commentator for NHL games, so here I am. First Leafs game ever and it's a Playoff game.

I've already been in the arena and I was present at the media availability saw Tavares and Holl, as well as the morning skate.

I still cannot believe this whole thing. It's crazy.

Btw, your city is absolutely beautiful, and everyone I have met is so lovely. Amazing experience which I will never, ever going to forget!

If we win 2-1 but the shots are 50-10 for TOR (i.e., Vas makes 48 saves and Samsonov makes 9) do you honestly believe in your heart that Sam was the 'better goalie'?

Samsonov just needs to play as he has and our TEAM needs to score more goals than they concede.

See I don't worry about subjective things like the definition of "better" .. The goalies have to make saves the players shooting don't control the outcome the goalie definitively does. Toronto could fire 50 shots on net doesn't mean Vas will let any in and could still post a shutout.

When I stated Sammy needs to beat Vasi in 4 of potential 7 games I'm simply counting the actual pucks that go into each net regardless of goalie play. Nothing subject only tangible counting pucks in nets.

Or simplified further Samsonov must allow less goals against then Vas in at least 4 game games, thus my definition of beating him head to head for Leafs to advance. Its just that simple.

Sammy could have a spectacular game making 38 of 40 saves posting a .950 sv% with +4 GSAx on 8 HDSC and all that means nothing if Vasilevskiy only surrenders a single goal as the Leafs still lose the game 2-1. Which is really all that matters in the end.
