Habs couldn’t score more then an AVERAGE of 1 goal per game against campbell, they aren’t gonna magically start scoring 3+., unless it’s off errors, mostly unforced like game 1. Habs can’t beat us, in this series, only we can beat something; either them or ourselves

Marner and Matthews have been good, but we need them to be on another level... especially Marner. Need production from him.

for the love of god he needs to shoot. I think its been three times ive seen hes in a prime scoring position only to delay so long a back checker gets him, or he drifts the puck into Price's pads. I hate being that guy who yells 'SHOOT", but that is literally the case for Marner

Good teams don't f*** around then they're on the verge of victory. Winning convincingly tonight would be a good sign, a sign that they're starting to mature as a team and might be a force to be reckoned with in these playoffs. Playing half heartedly and losing would be a very bad sign IMHO, kind of like when they had Boston down 3-2 and played listlessly in game 6 on their way to losing the series.

I've become a believer that this team can go far, please don't let doubts creep into my head.

I haven't been alive long enough - what's it feel like when we move past a round?

Should be happy or just act like we should have won?

It feels fantastic! The energy really starts to build in the city. Especially if we make it past round 2 then it just turns electric. To be honest I haven't been too happy with leaf's fans' presence in the city the last few years (except for maple leafs square). Plus us sucking for like 15 years allowed a lot of Montreal fans in the city to get a little too comfortable and overconfident on our turf in my opinion. My flag is up on my truck and has been since we clinched the north. I want to see a lot more of them!

You've matured as a team during the regular season - it's been a night and day difference in attitude, demeanour and response to different situations that we've gone through in the regular season.
IN THE REGULAR SEASON.

Now we have to show we can do that exact same thing in the playoffs.

We already faced our adversity and conquered it - lost the first game, came back very strong, struggled through game 3 to pull it out despite playing against a very hot goalie, and now we are here. Ready to win the 4th game.

I don't have to repeat the platitudes and so-called empty words about how the last game of a series is the hardest to win, because you already know it. Excluding you rookies, many of you have gone through it on this very team the last two or three years, on both sides of it. And those that didn't go through it on this team, have gone through it many times before . . . For Jumbo and Spezza, that was back in the days of the dinosaurs! (light laughter)

This team is so versatile it blows my mind. It feels like we are diverse enough that we can play to the style of our opponent on any given night and still be successful.

So pumped for tonight and even more especially after the JT news.
