GDT: Toronto Maple Leafs vs Dallas Stars

Dallas is a good team. Home team is always going to come out quick. Especially with an early PP.

Leafs have had trouble staying on their feet for whatever reason.

Not to mention they have half a D and 2 rookies playing.

Overall in period I would give the edge to Dallas but it wasn't the worst.

Murray was huge though. Should be tied

sure but when our top two lines aren't playing its constant hemcity for us.

Im just saying we need guys like hakanpa for example in our bottom 6 that carry the play and are strong along the boards.

If Im the opposition in the playoffs and I see kerfoot sda malgin etc - im extra pumped. That's an easy day imo. Playoffs are war of attrition and i don't think our bottom six is doing jack all there. JMO.

This shows the importance of starting goaltending. Murray weathers the storm. Could easily be 1 - 0 Stars.

I think people are giving Murray too much credit when it was mostly Dallas screwing up all their best chances lol

They had like 3 straight odd man rushes without a proper shot at one point

He's been good but I really don't feel like he was forced to make a ton of tough saves

True. Seemed like Seguin and Faksa screwed up a few big chances lol

I agree. Seguin line has us running in circles and I agree we could use some upgrades in the bottom 6

You picked about 1 minute total out of 20 minutes of play.

Matt Murray 100% deserve credit. This team has not had solid goal tending in a long time, especially in the playoffs. You bet your ass I am excited about steady goal tending.
