Liljegren with a horrific period. Edmundson totally useless in every way. McCabe poor period. And Keefe, wtf was Knies doing on in the last 8 seconds? He’s been horrible.

Because Keefe's system is all about taking a bunch of random players and trying to get them to make these terrible possession plays, running guys like Engvall and Liljegren like they're Larionov to Fetisov.
Yes. Every line plays the same way, it's asinine. Dewar isn't going to make the same plays with the puck as a Nylander. Rielly as an Edmundson etc. Sometimes the play is to flip the puck out, Keefe thinks these guys are the '08 Red Wings or something with this emphasis on puck possession in all 3 zones.

Benoit has been a nice suprise this season but has not looked great thru two games.

Brodie has had a rough season but we might need to somehow get him back into the lineup.

If that’s Nylander that makes that play instead of Marner, people would be losing their crap even more. Realistically that is the Dmans responsibility, Marner has to cover the point

It says something when your 4th line look like your top lines in the playoffs. It’s a completely different game out there and this core will never learn

Our PP is awful, but we have a pretty skilled guy who scored tonight when no one really has anything going lately. Nah leave him on the bench!

In past years I have felt like we were better but kept mentally puking over ourselves. Boston is better then we are.
Thing is the series of things leading to that goal was all leafs making a series of mistakes. They’ve been doing it all season though so it’s not really a surprise. Probably can count on my hands the number of times the leafs actually played a solid game this season
