You would think finishing dead last in the conference would humble some of them.

You'd think us not making the playoffs in 8 years would make some of our fans less cocky but here we are. At least Montreal has 5 of the last 6 years (I believe).

This game can't come fast enough. I'm growing tired of this Winnipeg vs. Ottawa game.

Excited to see Komarov, van Riemsdyk, and Kessel.

As for Armstrong, I just hope he doesn't play a good game. It would just rub some salt in dem wounds.

flyers pens game is good

JvR - Kadri - Komarov

that's going to be a solid line, hope we can keep using it.

Chemistry is the key... If they find chemistry all the tools are there to be one dangerous line... Kadri and Komarov are penalty drawing machines which will give teams fits.

Guys, if you want to talk about the other games, GDT in NHL Talk or post in the stickied 'Around the League' thread. This GDT is specifically Leafs vs Habs for tonight. Cheers.

That is what I'm most excited about, the two may be small but van Riemsdyk makes up for it with his size, and ability to go in front of the net and crash it. Kadri being the playmaker, JvR the power forward, and Leo as the superpest, this line will most likely be very exciting. (If they mesh well together)

very low expectations going into the season, will be able to enjoy the games stress-free :)

with burke gone and a fresh start, it wouldn't be the worst thing getting a top 5 C

it'll be nice watching the kids play this year

That line has the potential to cause some fits.

I just hope that Komarov's game can adapt to the NHL. Same with Kadri. I want to see him stick in the line-up and play all year. They're both unproven, as is van Riemsdyk to an extent. He's still trying to live up to that second overall selection.

Given Komarov's play in the AHL + KHL, I think he's good to go. Same with Kadri, I think he's fully developed and this is his chance to open some eyes.
