This team is ridiculous.
Remember at the start of the season when we thought they were a contender instead of a pretender

I find you get a pretty good sense of whether we get the Jekyll or Hyde Leafs when you see those careless passes early in a game. Likes senseless reversals to no one, area passes to the open wing, big loops in their skating. Like if they’re going to casually give away the puck you know they’re likely to give up a lot of scoring chances and probably the game with it.
Yeah it really does seem like they're fine letting mistakes compound. One bad shift typically turns into several bad shifts. That's why they typically don't just lose, but lose in a substantial way

Big save there. Mrazek is good, but like Stephen said he’s just not in sync with the team and gets scrambly way too soon

Omg Holl looks like an ECHLer tonight, the clock struck midnight already on that guys "good" part his career.

He was protected at the expansion draft :skeptic:

Bad game by the whole team so far but the opportunities to score are there

I’ll really disappointed if they don’t come back

So solid rest and enough time to practice working on some problem areas has "hurt the team".
And when the "schedule gets filled", i.e. a bunch of three-games-in-four-nights sessions, this will bring out the best in the Leafs.

I give up. I really do.
Are you insinuating my comment is stupid? Because anyone who plays hockey knows that game speed is much different than practice speed and that when you’re out of games for a while it takes some game time to get into a groove. Sorry, maybe you never played hockey before
