You know it's bad when even fantasy updates call out your defence , which has no relevance to the usual stats needed in fantasy

Usually if you are playing against a team that has players with higher turnover rates even when not pressured; chances of the guys in your pool scoring is a lot higher

just saying....

That update is usually on the player that can benefit though , not on the defenceman. For example Ehlers would get an update that he's facing Brodie.

Brodies so bad the update went directly on him

I don’t get the ‘fans’ who want the guy to fail.
It gives the appearance that they rather the new GM fail than the team have success. Pretty weird.
Definitely weird, but certainly not new.

What's Reaves more likely to do this game; score a goal or fling himself into the boards or goalpost again and take another paid vacation?
I would gave supportted his last vacation if it were a suspension for going after Marchand, but nah, that didn't hF happen.

Feel like there will be a statement game from reaves. Picked him up for fantasy hockey, I feel like he will get a goal or two after his rough start to season. Hes always had potential to be a 20 goal guy maybe he will finally get going

The break can't come any sooner for JT. I expect him to come back energized after the break. Hopefully they load manage him and he is not bagged for the playoffs.

Jets board already crying about the officiating tonight. Pre-emptive excuses. I suppose Toronto is to blame for they being Winnipeg too
They seem to take losses to the Leafs exceptionally hard.
I don’t really get the level of importance myself, we’re not even in the same conference.
If we lost to them tonight it’s really no big deal.

Well he's never scored more than 9 goals in a season but maybe he'll have that famous age 37 offensive career year.

They signed Reaves and then traded Lafferty to make room. Now, they are making room for his return by demoting McMann. Both Lafferty and McMann were ideal 4th line players, gritty and could keep up at both ends, move up the lineup if need be. Reaves doesn't look like he'll be a positive contributor on the ledger for us. He may have cost us two NHL 4th liners when he doesn't even realize they could have just waived Reaves and nobody would have taken him even to start the season because no one else would have been dumb enough to give him that deal in the first place.

Bobby Mcmann is injured not waived

Once again the game is not on CBC Toronto. This year Rogers is really screwing people out of OTA Leafs games.

So glad I don’t live in Toronto anymore, it’s becoming a sewer………..
I hear that riding the TTC can be an adventure these days. I personally am wary about traveling south of Steeles unnecessarily tbh.

I guess Bertuzzi is still on leave?

Edit: nope Bert's back that is positive. Thanks Jimmy
