I'm convinced that our guys want no part of a physical group. They seem to always press when you have a line like that out there running around.

Not really a fan of Biega, I can see easily why he's stuck in the AHL. Pretty meh.

Surprised we didn’t re-sign Ben Hutton. Seems like the kind of depth piece who would have served us well this year given we’re in a similar state to when they brought him in last year.

Both goals were our D playing like ***! We’re lucky Campbell is playing well or we’d be tied or down

This is a good illustration of why a lot of the higher end D prospects we have are not necessarily the best pro fits on the Leafs. Sandin is the best of the bunch but it will be hard for Niemela, Hollowell, and friends to come up and compete for similar jobs or support on the same D corps. Just reinforces the same strengths and weaknesses.

Schneider and Askarov were my favorites but I like Amirov a lot too.

I was hoping Askarov would slip but wasnt surprised where he was selected. We could certainly use another goalie prospect in the system.

Surprised how quickly Schneider made the NHL.

That is what happens when you only have 4 good defensemen on your pro team right now.

After Lindgren, Fox, Miller, and Trouba, what else do they have? The guys they had as 5-8 have all been atrocious. Schneider has been solid in the AHL, but he is only playing because they have nothing else. If they don't add at least 1 or 2 guys at the TDL, it is going to be tough for them in the playoffs.
