I don't celebrate Christmas, Halloween, or birthdays but I'll sit in my chair with a skeleton costume on, a Christmas tree lit up, and a birthday cake in front of me this summer when Vigneault is fired.
Well that was just one incident, there were many others when he seems be chirping at the referees.

It really feels like they will not win it all again in any of our lifetimes. I see threads on the main board all the time posted by people who are new to hockey asking which team to follow. I would never tell anyone to bother with the Rangers.

I usually get pissy about offside challenges, I always argue that the blue line should be to the ceiling but that wasn’t even close and beyond stupid.
This loss is 100% on AV. And it happened before the puck even dropped. Blowing up the lines just because you lose a third line wing is absurd. One of your best players you move him to 4th line wing? Great decision.
Then he gets a 5 on 3 first group buzzing pulls them off after a minute. They aren’t tired. Let them finish it. Instead puts 5 lefties on the ice not one shooter.
Team is in total disarray all night because the lines are in a blender. They looked lost because their coach was in disarray.

And then the cherry on top. Mika Zibanejad your best forward all year stapled to the bench the entire third period when trying to tie the game?
This coach should come out and say guys I blew the game it’s on me because that’s what happened. Total idiot. And I got the sense Lundqvist was thinking the same thing. He was livid.

I've never been this f***ing irate at a player. That giveaway by Holden against Florida pails in comparison to what this waste of space did today.
Yes Hayes made a mistake there but people calling him a disgrace come on you must have missed the last 25 games where he has been terrific in all three zones. How about that 8 million dollar man who can't win a puck battle and created zero offense. Those are the real disgraces. Like it or not Hayes is the future 2nd /3rd line center for this team and he's been really good for most of the season

Hayes wandering away at Toronto's GWG was garbage too. He could see all of the ice and knew where the D were. Both that and standing offside (not skating offside just before, but standing happily waiting for Grabner to come in) were the sort of dreadfully stupid things that we've seen less of from Hayes this season.

Actually that was smith then holden . Smiths was way more egregious trying to skate thru three panthers while his team was making a chance with very little time in the third. I just love how guys like Hayes and vesey get all the vitriol on here.
I wish I could divorce this team like I divorced my ***** ex-wife.
Yeah and if I'm not mistaken that's on the players not the coaches . It's players responsibility to make proper change

I hope it's not a medical reason. The only thing I can think of was that miller was winning every single face off there at the end but I'm with u if zibby was ok he should have been in there

Obviously, yes, I don't want it to be an injury. But him being held out due to medical reasons is the only correct reason to have him benched in the third. Anything else is wrong and dumb by the coaching staff.
