After the expansion draft:
TO LV: 2 x 2nd round picks + Leipsic + Loov
TO TOR: (selected from ANA) J. Manson

No way ANA loses Manson IMO,
They'll protect 8 skaters (assuming fowler orVatanen is dealt)
Getlaf
Perry
Kesler
Rakell
Vatanen/Fowler
Lindholm
Bieksa
Manson
Or if they can convince Bieksa to waive his no move its an easy answer here. Manson is too good to lose to expansion for ANA in my opinion
There's no way they let Bieksa eat up a protection slot. He can waive his NMC if he wants to stay here or be bought out of the final year of his deal.
Trading Vatanen or Fowler for a forward right before expansion lists are submitted would allow the Ducks to be a 7-3-1 team and prevent losing any core players to expansion.
Getzlaf, Perry, Kesler, Rakell, Silfverberg, Cogliano, (Trade)
Lindholm, Fowler, Manson
Gibson
That's our entire core retained, minus Vatanen who is our most replaceable core player in terms of what we have internally.
I wouldn't pay that much for Josh Manson. No where near it.
yeah, am i missing something here?
Huge physical top 4 RHD making under $1M don't come cheap.
Manson isn't a player we'd be interested in moving, certainly not for a pair of 2nds and some depth prospects.
Isn't Theodore not exempt? Would Anaheim consider protecting Manson over him?
I don't watch many Ducks games but is Manson that good?

Wouldn't give up that much for Manson. He is 25 already, I don't see him getting much better
So Vegas gets a free Silfverberg?

Silf is a lot easier to replace then Manson.
