Toronto is in big trouble... Matthews's injury is still there. Surgery incoming?

With the way that Matthews has been playing while hurt this season, the Leafs actually play better without him. Don't get me wrong, even hurt Matthews is an above average player but his lack of finish due to the injury kills the team's offense. This is especially true on the power play. It seems that whenever Matthews is on the ice the Leafs stars are constantly trying to get him the puck and it is easy to see that he just cannot finish as he usually can. When Matthews was out the power play and offense in general looked far better.

Will we even see the difference once the playoffs starts? Minus Nylander, they all under perform in the playoffs.
We will have to wait to see if Woll/Stolarz can match the sheer awesomeness of Andersen/Campbell/Samsonov. All those game 7's that those 3 put together are going to be tough to equal, not sure if Woll/Stolarz are up for the task

I hope we aren’t robbed of watching Matthews. Hope he recovers fully and can make a playoff push.

As annoying as Leaf fans are, it’s getting to the point where Leaf haters are more annoying.
The haters just made me realize #CanadasTeam needs to #WinACupForTheBoys, but I guess it doesn't matter because that's guaranteed to happen when #McDavidComesHome.

Doesn't Toronto have a winning record with Mattews out of the lineup?

When we are winning, Matthews is a bum and not that good we should trade him.

When were losing, were doomed without Matthews and he is never coming back mwahaha

Haters gunna hate
