I'm aware. One is for Bernardeschi. That leaves one more slot. Just saying it might not be the best strategy to fill it immediately. We're not even sure what the squad will look like a month from now.

Well, it doesn't look like we'll have enough runway to take a run at a playoff spot after the reinforcements arrive.

I'm hoping we'll win the Canadian Championship in a couple of weeks and secure a berth in Champions League as a consolation.

Won't matter with old man Bradley on the field and pops at the helm
Great point. Bradley seems to be the focal point of our midfield, but he looks slow and has little creativity. I also think pops is struggling with what he's been given to work with.

What an absolutely pathetic effort. Mavinga had his head so far up his ass he didn't know if he was coming or going. I'll say it again, if you're starting 6 Canadians in your starting 11 and only one is a legitimately good player in Osorio, you're going to get games like last night. Substitute those inadequate Canadians with other inadequate Canadians you're not changing much.

Add in the fact we had no DP in the game, you just knew there wasn't going to be much talent on the field. What I don't understand, management knew we were heading into an important stretch where points were going to be important, and you knew Insigne was dealing with an injury and Salcedo was a head case because he was dealing with stuff at home, why in the world would you trade your most talented player in Pozuelo at this time?

Well all these soccer guys were telling me we had a good team at start of year when I said after I watched 1 game we looked terribly slow and had zero speed on midfield or defense .. well I watched again last night and it was same old same old .. Bradley has been a warrior for da club and bleeds red but he passed his prime 3 years ago .. and Osorio is skilled but he can't hang with speed either .. bringing in superstars from Italy will help upfront but best case we have to win shoot outs every game 5-4 .. I don't see it personally and I have never been a believer in a father coaching his son in any kinda serious junior or pro game .. sure it can work as kids as there are not enough qualified coaches to go around but not in junior or pro please

Honestly, Michael Bradley has played well for the most part. He's not the issue.

The glaring issue has been our backline. We didn't have any natural fullbacks on the roster until Criscito arrived and opposing teams have been exploiting that weakness every game.

Bernardeschi's acquisition has been officially reported by the club. He should be able to debut with Insigne on July 23rd.

Saputo stadium gives me too many Canada vs Honduras 2008 vibes. Hard to watch
