Thanks. I guess that accounts for the 1/2 year in the 5 1/2 year contract.
Hopefully they can keep pace until his arrival.

This is an amazing signing. He will rip the MLS apart as Gio did when he arrives.

The wildcard in all of this is that Gio still wants to come back to MLS as well specifically to TFC. If somehow they can put pen to paper on a contract for him as well this will be a major haul for them. Imagine Insigne, Gio and Peuzello on the same team? It would be incredible soccer to watch.

I’ve seen Milan is interested in him. So I assume they are a strong contender.

exciting times. And yeah hopefully they get some other players added soon. They will need them with Insigne coming in half way through the season. Would suck to have him arrive to a basement dwelling team. Let's not kid ourselves at how back we were last season. Would be nice to lose some dead weight and sort out the Jozy mess also.

It's also crazy how much Seba has being linked with TFC for what is like a few years now. I would love nothing more than to have him back on a non-DP salary. the fact that is hasn't happened yet makes one think the chances of it happening now are pretty slim.

Yes there is a cap.

Each team has 3 designated player spots where only 400k of their salary counts against the cap.

Insigne and Pozeulo will be DP’s. They are trying to terminate Altidore’s contract and sell Soteldo (the two other current DP’s at the moment).
