I agree. First time I ever saw SDA was his first year in the OHL. Was tiny, but had a great skillset. Been following him ever since and was excited when the Leafs drafted him. But the more I watched the less convinced I was that he would ever really make it. Good for the kid to get a chance, but I don't see him as a long term option for this team.I'm surprised SDA is playing over Malgin. I think they really want to reward him, maybe even showcase him at the NHL level. Either way, he's been really good with the Marlies and has taken a step forward in a lot of areas.
Nice to see Timmins finally in too.
