He'll be a 60 point player next year if there are no injury setbacks.

I'd like to see Krug get the day off on Saturday.

He really has played a lot of hockey and looks a bit worn down. A week off before the playoffs could really help him.

Krug has been playing the best hockey of his career lately I think. I'd like to see what he can do next to Chara, I think their styles would compliment each other well.

The market is the problem, he is already making 3.4M on a 1year contract, and he has been putting up 40 point seasons and is a great puck mover.
He will be a 3rd pairing player in few years in Boston and hopefully it isn't with a 5M cap hit.

It's a shame BB88 is an Oilers fan now. No one could be so off base like this guy.

Hell baby
Pass to Chara was nifty

I love the guy, I don't see how people can claim he is a 5 or 6. Maybe on a stacked unit but he can be in my top 4 any day

Only a couple more games in the regular season, so probably the final time I'll post this but:

He's the most underappreciated and underrated player on this team. Catches a ridiculous amount of **** for what he provides.

Is that where he went?

Thought he was hiding from us after his Panthers and Jets crapped their respective pants. Two teams that were supposed to destroy the Bruins with their success.

I love Torey Krug and I love his contract. Dude is gold.

Has accrued more than 50 points this season, and doubled his goal total this season from last year (4).

He's also playing better in his own end, every year. I used to worry about him defensively. Now I don't even think about it. He's fantastic. I dunno if I'd ever call him top pairing or not - that's hard to say, seeing as that he's not been given the opportunity yet.

But he IS essential to this team. No doubt about it. He's the premier offense-provider from the blueline. What's not to like about him??? Seriously.

He always seemed more like a fan of Finnish players (Barkov, Laine) than a B's fan anyways. Good riddance I say, some really weird outbursts from that guy.

Krug really is the real deal. Some of the passing plays he pulls off are borderline insane.

The beginning of this thread was real fun. Going to finish top 10 in points and some people didn't want to pay him over 4 million let alone 5.

despite his year, there`s still some who think he`s overpaid

The guy has "leader" written all over him.

Don Sweeney never possessed the offensive aspect to his game but Krug and him play with that same passion, effort and desire to overcome the one obstacle they can`t/couldn`t change and that`s size

Don Sweeney was one of my fav Bruins when he played as he defied the odds at a time when this game could often look like a war on ice

As someone that doubted him and was worried about his struggles in the beginning of the season... call me pleasantly corrected.

If we could have only acquired an upgrade to McQuaid we'd be all set. The future is coming though.

Best thing to happen to him this season was the coaches sitting him down and asking him to shoot for the purpose of rebounds and tips.

For whatever reason (shoulder injuries?) he seemed to have lost the ability to score from up top.

Gotta love Krug. From a nice looking "free wallet" to a top 5 scoring D in 5 years. That series vs the Rangers was like the birth of the legend in my books.

He will never good full credit defensively due to being undersized, but this guy is a difference maker for us.

Still unhappy with his shot accuracy. He showed signs at one point this season of getting past his abysmal shooting pct, but lately has struggled again. He could be so much more dangerous if he could elevate his shooting pct to where it was early in his career. Other than that I love the guy and think that he is a large part of the team's success this year. He is definitely a difference maker and competes extremely hard. Not sure how anyone can not like the kid and what he brings.
