I don't find Kostka that impressive. He isn't that mobile, his defensive game is average, but he's being unfairly attacked. Even when Randy was giving him pretty difficult tasks, he was being attacked. Nonetheless, the fact is Gardiner was atrocious on the top pairing compared to Kostka. Yes, Gardiner has far more potential, but that doesn't change that fact.

Right now he's whining about how much Kostka is playing. Sure it's a lot but damn relax guy. I know. I don't hate him. i don't think he's horrendous - but I don't think he's outright cost us games to the point people call him "Costco." and to totally hate on the dude - when he wasn't even on the ice is just crazy sauce.
