I mean, I've been saying that for 5 years now.

Nothing has evolved in his game over that time.

We've all been saying it but it's doubly frustrating he hit this new superstar level, consistently competing hard only to revert into this. I'm a Willie fan, believe in the talent, supportive of the contract more or less, but reverting to your immature game is a not the greatest look.

Yeah they're at a similar level right now. Robertson and Knies could rotate in and out for each other and just keep things fresh physically and both get some reps.
Robertson looks considerably better than Knies right now honestly. He's actually finally started to figure things out and impact the game as more than just a shooter. Knies just can't seem to make any kind of plays

Jones can’t make a key save to save his life…4 goals on 16 shots. Allowing one when we absolutely dominated the period is tragic. In fairness to him though, Brodie is on a whole new level of shit this season. Once again we don’t know how to play in our own zone. That my friends is coaching imo.

Robertson has his flaws too, so I understand why he sits, but Knies' game has deteriorated with fatigue and he's not been that productive. So yeah it's a good time to rotate the kids and just keep them developing, keep them fresh... But Keefe tends to overuse his assets to the point of burnout while not trusting those outside his comfort zone.

Yeah, I think everyone should love the talent.

As I've said many times before, he has all of the same attributes that Marner has, but with better skating, and a much better shot.

The difference between the 2 of them is that Mitch consistently puts in the effort, and Willie goes through a lot of periods without a shred of interest on the ice.

Both goalies have let in some suspect goals

Robertson's flaws are things that need to be ironed out by playing, and you can see him making progress. For Knies, he'd really be better suited by not playing. He's getting worse by the game. Keefe is certainly not helping either of them get better, and he's shown pretty consistently that he's not a coach who can handle young players

The video replay guys will have to be watching the third period zoomed in at 300%. They've bailed out Jones for 2 goals in the past 2 games, and my feeling is the Canucks are probably going to get another 1 at minimum.
