I think some perspective: The Canucks are one of the top 3 teams in the league. The Leafs are a playoff bubble team.
And it's easy to see the difference: Vancouver is fast, skilled, great forecheck, lots of hustle. Toronto isn't at the same level.

People on here heavily rejected going for players like myers or even E.Kane

I am not disagreeing with you but at the end of the day the top players have to decide they want to buy in or just straight up doesn't matter what the coach wants. None of these guys are going anywhere and they know it.

He was just an example. All of their players are playing the game exactly the way they are being demanded to. It’s led to their success

Put a coach in front of this team that sets the tone then see what the response is

If Marner isn’t willing to play the game the right way, let him go. Tavares and him can walk.
