  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Congrats to our latest Sportsbook winners - GOLD MEDAL kihei, SILVER MEDAL fish7 and BRONZE MEDAL Sammy Kat - new tournament begins today 6/15
Again, why is there an assumption that pending UFA Raddysh would have agreed to re-sign with Tampa, period?

Darren, we have a great deal that you simply can't pass up. Remember all those amazing opportunities you took advantage of this year, well re-sign with us and you can experience all of those opportunities again, but this time while sitting on the bench . . . unless Hedman is injured.
My thought process is that TB likely made a contract proposal they were comfortable with, and DR thought his market value was higher. This is the least surprising thing of all time. JB did that with Stamkos, so it's not a shock.

Glad for Raddysh here. Guy went from less than $4M career earnings to a guaranteed deal worth $68M. Hope he had a big midsummer party getting that money.

I noticed you don't want to acknowledge that everything else it said was accurate about his usage last season.

You need to work on your pivots, sir.

Because it’s a bot, like you, that is incapable of watching the sport and (poorly/inaccurately) just aggregates what others on the Internet have said. Stop posting lies and people will stop calling you out for it, simple as.

We will find out how good Radish is next season when he's playing on the top D pair, #1PP and #1PK.

Does he score 20+ goals again? It's possible. His best asset is his big booming shot that often finds the net.

ChatGPT didn't claim he was used as a penalty kill defenseman. Only that he logged minutes. Everything else it had said was bang on. This guy helped drive the offense on your PP and was logging the most ice time out of all your defensemen 5v5. He's not a f***ing 4-7 he may have BEEN a 4-7 defenseman but he evolved into something more last year and was used as such.

imagine being butt hurt you lost 1 of your top d pairings to a division rival and then trying to claim he's really just a 4-7 defenseman?

Tampa should have paid this guy. I get that he was due for a raise but it's Tampa! you probably could have gotten him for 7 if you just gave him term. Just so we are clear here...you don't DIE as a player because you are 30.
Except you are totally wrong. He played major minutes due to injuries to Hedman, McDonagh, etc. At one point they were rolling out 4 AHL defensemen. So if being one of 2 NhL defenseman makes you a top 2 defenseman, than I guess he’s a top 2 defenseman. He would have been a 5-6 on the Lightning next year.

I’m thrilled he got a huge contract. I’m even happier that Toronto was the one to pay him.

Was it wrong about the PP. Or ice time? Or defensive pairings sir? No? (probably why you are not bringing it up)

You are focusing in on minutia. IT WAS WRONG! HE WAS NEVER A REGULAR ON THE PENALTY KILL! WRONG WRONG EVERYTHING IT SAYS WAS WRONG!

Except fact checking it's claims with statmuse...and oh look! It was correct. He was and is a top pairing defenseman now. It was correct in that he logged the most minutes. It was correct that he was on the top pairing. It was correct he was on the top pairing PP. This isn't a 4-7 defenseman. He's a top pairing defenseman now. That's how he was used in Tampa in their final year. He happened to excel in that role. Tampa didn't want to give him term, he moved on.
Stop feeding the trolls.

Raddysh:

led all Tampa D in TOI/GP
was 2nd for 5v5 TOI/GP
led the Tampa D for Goals scored (setting the team record)
led Tampa D with 70 points (The next nearest D had 29!)
led all Tampa D for 5v5 xGF%
led all Tampa D for 5v5 Shot Differential
was 2nd for 5v5 goal differential

League Wide amoung dmen, he:

was 2nd for goals per game in the league
was 7th for points per game in the league
Finished 11th for Norris voting including a 3rd place vote (ahead of Schaefer, McAvoy and Fox)

Anyone who though he was anything but a top pairing dman is either trolling or has the hockey IQ of a turnip....and he wasnt just a top pairing dman, he was one of the better ones in the league.

I guessed 7x9.5
8x8.5 with that extra year involved gets an extra 1.5 million and Leafs have a cap hit 1 million less.

This is either going to be amazing or 100% horrible for the Leafs I do not think there is a middle ground. Excited to see what he does

My guess is amazing for 3 or 4 years, okay for another 2, then kinda bad for another 2-3 (but the salary cap will probably be $1 billion by that point 😎).
