At the end of the day, all he wants is money.
Or you know, to be around his family who are longtime Leafs fans and season ticket holders

This literally is a deal for a top 2 dman that can play solid minutes on reg and pp. He had a solid point production last year, and prior he still played super good. With cap going up and rielly most likely traded, this isnt a bad pickup at all..... if it was a terrible deal id get it but this isnt eben close to bad lolWhat did I say that wasn’t true?
If you are a Leafs fan you probably know the history better than I do. Committing to Tanev and Stolarz already looks iffy. Giving good money, term, and then counting on guys on the other side of 30 is not a great strategy in the modern NHL.
Just seems a little low, especially for a trade within the division.dreger says just a late pick
Tanev outside of injuries has been perfectly fine....and if the injuries continue he is going to end up LTIR'd. No Leaf fan is worried about his contract lol awful example. What did I say that wasn’t true?

Getting the extra year from the sign-and-trade helps keep the AAV down. He's absolutely getting more than Nurse money, no way this deal is less than 9 per if he's willing to forgo free agency
Why do some clubs win while others always seem to lose? This is one of those reasons. What the heck are the Leafs thinking?
risky move with that much money and term.
Everyone does.I wonder if his 70 point season is the exception or the rule
No we don't.Everyone does.
It's already thought to be less than many posters on the board. Some were advocating for over 10.Gonna regret going long term on a guy with one breakout season at 30, Leafs..
But sure let’s give up stuff for the privilege of overpaying more!
Knows that it's the rule or the exception? No we don't.
Everyone with a brain already knows this
Raddysh is from TO and likely had this as a preferred destination. His father also passed recently so wouldn't be surprised if he wants to be with family more as well.Just seems a little low, especially for a trade within the division.
I know he wasn’t going to re-sign but still, figured other teams might poke around and drive the price up
So does everyone who has a jobAt the end of the day, all he wants is money.
