They could especially if he puts up 100 points but it's no guarantee, Karlson put up 100 and didn't make the playoffs with SJ.8x8 for a 30 year old one year wonder....yikes.
Raddysh could put up over 100 points and the Leafs still won't make playoffs next year.
Many GM got saved here is my thinking time will tell. He's been a full time NHLer for 3 seasons. 33, 37, and 70 points with little PP time the first 2 seasons. It's 8.5 not 9. Should I say "almost 8"?
No need to fudge numbers to make your points. Other teams would be all over him too if he obviously didnt want to come home and he probably gets more elsewhere.
the "paying 8.5 million for a 30 year old who probably had a outlier season" part
None. Just more unnecessary trolling. Leaf fans are happy because Raddysh wants to be here and ticks many boxes for us. We all know we still need a number 1 or at least 2-3 number 2s.Really? Which ones?
he's 30...he's already peakedif they were paying him like he'd always put up 70 in 73 he'd be getting $12M...
Well that's everyone's plan. Mike Milbury, Garth Snow, and Jim Benning all wanted to win a Cup too.Their plan is a parade. It's just when. It has been almost 60 years.
8 years for a dude that's going to be 31 half way through the first year of his contract and has one good season. When has a contract like that ever worked out for a team? I get why they did it,they have no choice but to either rebuild or maybe huge gambles but this is going to be ugly. You have decades of free agency to pull from give me examples.Trying too hard....it's hilarious you think anyone with a brain will take you seriously.
The Leafs probably had an outlier season as wellthe "paying 8.5 million for a 30 year old who probably had a outlier season" part
There is a very very solid chance they finish ahead of Edmonton as well.so still out of a playoff spot LOL
some nice copium right hereEven if he was a 50 point D he would get that on the open market, if not more. His Cap hit is nothing in this era.
So what would he have gotten anywhere else? Let’s hear what you think SJ would have paid?8 years for a dude that's going to be 31 half way through the first year of his contract and has one good season. lol, no buddy. I'm in reality, you are desperately looking for negatives, and it is plain for all to see.some nice copium right here
Are the Leafs competing for the cup next 3 years? If not, during which window do the most questionable years of this contract land?
One has had a proven career track record and one is a one year wonder. that is the difference. So Carlson at 36 years old signing a two-year deal at $10 million is good. but Raddysh at 30 signing an eight-year deal for $8.5 million is bad. Aren't they both going to be 38 at the end of their deals?
Copiumsome nice copium right here
. What do you think he would have got on July 1st?His numbers with and without Moser were excellent, and we'll have McCabe beside him to provide a balanceHe's very much carried by Moser on the d side of things though so the Leafs kind of need an elite shutdown guy.
Also keep in mind Tampa usually has four good players on the ice with Raddysh. Leafs don't have comparable depth on D.
He was going to be a disaster for someone. Nobody is denying that. Everyone was saying this going into free agency. So what would he have gotten anywhere else? Let’s hear what you think SJ would have paid?
For leafs rebuild was the way to go man it does look like England will win the world cup before leafs get one now I think I'm gonna do a polymarket bet on this.8 years for a dude that's going to be 31 half way through the first year of his contract and has one good season.
