Toronto does not need a forward unless his name is Crosby, Toews, Kopitar or Schiefle which is of course a pipedream, the Leafs have plenty of forwards, what they need is an upgrade to their D, someone with 560 or so games under their belt and is seen as a steady all round defender with high IQ and can play in the 2nd pair....know anyone like that?

They're last in the division... again, after finishing last in the previous season. Until proven otherwise they're a bottom dwelling team.

Bottom dwelling refers to the league wide standings (where the lottery picks used to go). Not dwelling in the bottom = not a bottom dweller. But I guess to each their own

And fyi - we were extremely lucky to get last place last season, 69 points would only have been a last place finish in one other year since the turn of the century and most years would barely be bottom 5. I'd love for us to have a shot at drafting first this year, but its extremely unlikely
